ADD Strikes Again

I knew my resolve wouldn't last long.  I couldn't stay away from the Siren song of casting on a new project.  I blame this one on multiple factors:  1) the miles and miles of stockinette that is Relax and the Gradient Blanket aren't stimulating enough;  2) I need a diversion from the job hunt anxiety;  3) my resolution to not go near a yarn shop is killing me;  4) I've watched several shows this week about astronauts.  With all that I decided to "go shopping" done in my craft room.  I found this lovely hank of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light in the fingering weight bin.  I remembered that it was intended for Starshower.  I grabbed it, ran upstairs, printed the pattern, wound the yarn and promptly cast on.

It is just what I needed.  The pattern is interesting but not overly complicated.  Knitting it makes me feel calm.  If I get this done quickly (yeah! right! sure!  I've heard that all before!) it will still be cool enough to wear it this season.
